Foundation Stage 2 Curriculum Overview
In our Foundation Stage, we believe every child deserves the very best start to their learning journey. This is a special time when children discover the world around them through play, exploration, and hands-on experiences that make learning exciting and fun. We focus on helping them develop important early skills like speaking, listening, early reading, number sense, and building friendships. Most importantly, we want each child to grow in confidence and independence, while enjoying the wonder and joy of learning every day.
Our ethos of learn, grow, flourish, encounter is at the heart of everything we do. We celebrate every child’s uniqueness and make sure all children feel included, valued, and supported. In our Foundation Stage, your child will encounter new experiences, grow in their abilities, learn to work with others, and flourish as they begin their school journey. We aim to create a safe, happy, and nurturing environment where your child can shine, knowing they are cared for and encouraged to be the very best version of themselves.
